Lake Area Technical College Camps

Current confirmed camps include: Prairie Lakes Healthcare System Explore Camp (SCRUBS) October 23, 2026 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Open to students in grades 10-12 Max of 60 Participants This day of exploration is for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors who are curious about the healthcare industry and want to learn more. The first half of the camp will feature patient treatment processes in different departments of Prairie Lakes Healthcare System along with a tour. The second half of the camp will take place at Lake Area Technical College with a provided lunch and tour. Camp Med February 19, 2027 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Open to students in grade 8 Camp Med is a free, one-day hands-on health career exploration for 8th grade students. Students will experience a wide variety of health careers through hands-on activities and discussions. Students will participate in a fun, hands-on activity such as reading x-rays, practicing a suture, stabilizing a trauma patient, or rehabilitating a stroke patient. STEM Camp March 15, 2027 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Open to students in grade 8 This event is for students who may have an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) careers by connecting them with successful role models who are already working in STEM-related professions. The day consists of education, interesting presentations and fun, hands-on activities. |
Mitchell Technical College Camps

The day will consist of experiencing different careers, hearing from professionals who will discuss their careers, and explore careers through hands-on activities. |
