Every year, SDACTE and the national organization ACTE recognize CTE educators and professionals that work with CTE programs for their excellence and dedication to furthering career and technical education. Below are a list of the awards available and resources for nominating and submitting award applications.

These major awards are given out at the SDACTE Banquet each year at Summer Conference. The following awards are for PAID MEMBERS of our organization. Each division is to select one candidate for each award and submit the list of division winners to the SDACTE Awards Chairperson by January 1. Each year, SDACTE gives out scholarships to high school seniors that are planning to go into an approved CTE post-secondary program after graduation. In addition, the national organization ACTE offers multiple CTE student scholarships that your students may be eligible for.
